Moody, Magical & Made to Last: How to Care for Your Custom Wreath or Centerpiece

When you bring home one of my handcrafted pieces, you’re not just adding décor—you’re adopting a little piece of my dark, dreamy soul. And just like any beautiful thing, it deserves a bit of TLC. Here’s how to keep your wreaths, swags, and centerpieces looking flawless year after year.

1. Location, Location, Location

If your wreath is heading outdoors, make sure it’s under cover—like a porch or awning—to shield it from harsh elements. Direct sun, rain, and wind are no friends to faux florals. Indoor placement? Go wild. Over mirrors, mantles, or moody gallery walls? Chef’s kiss. 🌸

2. Store Smart, Not Stuffed

When the season’s over, don’t just toss it in a bag and pray. Store each piece in a roomy box (preferably the one it came in), and avoid stacking anything on top. Bubble wrap or tissue paper can help keep those petals and ribbons in shape.

3. Fluff It, Don’t Fear It

A quick fluff can breathe new life into your décor. Gently reshape any bent petals, untwist bows, and smooth out wild wires. Think of it like giving your wreath a mini glam session before it goes on display.

4. Dust Happens—Here’s What to Do

Use a soft brush, feather duster, or even a blow dryer on cool/low to remove dust. Avoid harsh cleaners or water—my wreaths are divas, and they do not do well with moisture. Also avoid high heat as it can melt the glue holding your design together!

5. Show It Some Love

If something feels off, or you have questions about maintaining your piece, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to help you keep your home looking magical all year long.

With just a little care, your wreath or centerpiece will stay stunning from season to season—because when décor looks this good, it deserves to be around for the long haul.
